I love my children and I love being home with them.

But that doesn't stop the nails-on-a-chalkboard reaction of a screaming baby who just.won't.stop.

Kids bouncing on the couch when you've already asked them to stop.

Disobeying, refusing to eat their food kind of days.

It's worse than nails on a chalk board.

It doesn't mean I don't love them and feel blessed to stay home.

I hear you! Whining and fussing here and it is totally like nails in a chalkboard. I have been known to go sit in my master closet and hide for a couple of minutes!

I know! Just reading it sounds empty and hollow but living it? Oh man... Nails!
