As I told you, we like to treat our out of town guests to our favorite local dives. The little joints we dig. Our beloved watering holes where we mosey when we're needing some good chow.
Have I gone too far? Typical.
Luckily the folks at West Crust know just how far to go to be cool and not creepy. See?
You also know if you've hung around a bit that we're wacky for West Crust Pizza. This is a unique and quality pizzeria that we love.
Three cheers for West Crust! So we took our friends to visit and were NOT disappointed.
Frankly, we've yet to order anything at West Crust we didn't just love. And I mean "creepy" love.
Just kidding. But it is that good. And I'm not just saying that because they linked to our blog last time. Really I'm not. This is honestly some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. Plain and simple.
This is the kind of food that makes people make up words like "Scrumdidliumptious".
And it doesn't hurt that the decor alone is worth a visit and makes you instantly cooler the minute you walk in. You do want to be cool don't you? Well? Then go!
I didn't take many pictures last time so I tried to make up for that with this trip.
This time we tried "Big Chicken in Little Italy". You can see its contents on the blackboard above. We all sighed and closed our eyes as we ate. Hence the lack of pictures.
This pizza is the Pacific and has pineapple, cilantro (*sigh*), mozerella, grilled chicken, red onion and bbq sauce. There really are no words. Ironically, we kept saying, "The cilantro just makes it." It's magical really. Like fairy dust.I, again, ordered the veggiepotomous becuase I lurrrrvvvv it. I also realized that not everyone is as crazy for artichoke hearts as me. :( So I'll keep the pictures to myself... More left overs for me!!
Here's something I love about West Crust. They recycle! Three cheers for caring! Hip-hip-hooray!
I'm in a cheering mood. Maybe I'm delusional from all of the good food. I don't know. Have you tried it and just love it? What's your favorite "dive"?

It's always nice to hear of great pizza places! We got spoiled when we lived in Connecticut with great pizza. It's hard for us to find a place we like here in TX!
